Welcome to SG Fursuit. We craft high-quality, full-body fursuits with a focus on precise fit, fast turnaround, and in-house artistic direction. Please review the following Terms of Service before submitting a commission request. Submitting a quote form indicates your agreement to all terms below.

Covered Services

SG Fursuit offers the following commission types:

  • Individual Components
  • Partial Fursuits (includes head, hands, tail, feet)
  • Full Digitigrade Fursuits (full-body, padded, high-detail)

All suits are made-to-order based on a custom reference sheet created by our in-house artist.

We include a custom-sized, rollable travel case with all partial and full suit commissions. This is not included with individual component orders.

Note: We do not accept commissions from anyone under 18, even with parental or third-party involvement. You must also own full rights to the character submitted for production.

Order Process

1. Quote Submission

Submit our quote form including your design concept, measurements, and references. Based on your submission, we will assess whether your commission fits our production scope.

If accepted, we will issue an invoice for a $500 CAD non-refundable deposit. If not, you will not be charged.

2. Reference Sheet Deposit

Once the deposit is received, our in-house artist will create a full-body reference sheet for your fursuit.

  • 2 revisions are included free of charge
  • Additional changes may incur fees
  • If canceled during this stage, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit

This reference is mandatory for all suits and ensures accurate construction.

3. Final Approval & Full Payment

After approving the reference sheet, you will receive a final invoice for the full cost of the suit.Construction will begin only after:

  • Full payment is received via email invoice
  • Written confirmation of your order is submitted via email

4. Production & WIP Milestones

Due to the speed of our production, WIP (Work-in-Progress) milestones vary per suit.At minimum, you will be notified when:

  • Your fursuit begins construction
  • Atleast one update which includes progress photos
  • Your fursuit is complete and ready to ship

We will try our best to provide in-progress photos when possible, but they are not guaranteed.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Once completed:

  • We will confirm your shipping address
  • You will receive a final invoice for shipping costs
  • Your suit will ship with full insurance, tracking, and signature confirmation

Expect email notification with tracking information once dispatched.

Payments

All payments are made via emailed invoices.We do not offer automated checkouts or third-party payment platforms.

  • The initial $500 CAD deposit is only invoiced if your request is accepted
  • Full payment is required before entering the build queue
  • We do not currently offer payment plans
  • If SG Fursuit cancels your order at any stage after full payment and written confirmation is received, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit

Color & Fabric Matching

All color and fabric selections are made at our discretion, based on material availability and visual cohesion.We cannot guarantee exact matches to digital references or previously produced work.

Dye lot variation and supplier inventory may affect final material appearance.

Measurements & Fit

You are responsible for submitting accurate and up-to-date measurements with your quote form.We do not currently require duct tape dummies.

SG Fursuit is not liable for sizing issues caused by inaccurate submissions.

Care Instructions

Each suit includes a care tag sewn inside with cleaning and storage instructions.Please follow these guidelines closely to protect the longevity and hygiene of your suit.

Care requirements vary depending on suit design and material choices.

Turnaround Time

We guarantee payment-to-delivery in 6 months or less under normal operating conditions.

Rare circumstances such as:

  • Studio relocations
  • Major team expansions or changes
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Other large-scale operational shifts

...may result in brief delays. If this occurs, all affected clients will be notified proactively and kept fully informed throughout the process.

Your suit’s production officially begins once:

  • Full payment has been received
  • Your written confirmation is submitted via email

Warranty

We offer a 7-day delivery-time warranty, beginning the day your suit arrives.

This warranty applies only if:

  • The suit is unmodified, and has not been altered in any way
  • The suit is either unworn, or worn only to assess sizing issues
  • The issue is clearly due to a manufacturing or material defect, including incorrect sizing caused by SG Fursuit

To activate a warranty claim, email us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • A written description of the issue
  • Clear, well-lit photos documenting the concern

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Damage from use, improper storage, or incorrect washing

Sizing issues caused by inaccurate client-provided measurements

Any modifications made after delivery

Repairs

We do not currently offer formal repair services.However, if you need assistance, you may email us with photos and a description of the issue.

We will try our best to:

  • Offer repair tips
  • Recommend supplies
  • Refer you to a third-party service if appropriate

Refund Policy

Refunds are offered at SG Fursuit’s sole discretion.

  • If you cancel during the reference stage, you may receive a 50% refund of the deposit
  • No refunds will be granted once fullsuit construction has begun
  • If we choose to cancel your order at any stage, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit

Please commission us only if you’re fully committed and able to proceed within budget and timeline.

Seller’s Rights

SG Fursuit reserves the right to:

  • Refuse or cancel any commission at any time, for any reason
  • Adjust this Terms of Service without prior notice
  • Use photos and videos of all finished suits for promotional, social, or print materials

You retain ownership of your character; SG Fursuit retains ownership of all suit photography and build documentation.

Artwork Ownership

All artwork produced for your suit—including your custom reference sheet and sticker pack—is yours to keep.These materials are included in your commission and will be delivered digitally and/or physically alongside your completed fursuit.

While SG Fursuit retains the right to display these materials for portfolio or promotional purposes, you retain ownership of the character and the commissioned artwork created specifically for your suit.

However, if your order is canceled for any reason—either by you or by SG Fursuit—all associated artwork, reference sheets, and materials created during the process remain the sole property of SG Fursuit.You may not use, repost, share, or commission work based on this material, even if you were the originator of the character concept. This includes incomplete ref sheets, draft stickers, or any creative output produced before cancellation.For all inquiries, contact:info@sgfursuit.com
